Material cutting
The cutting department is the first phase of the production cycle. The main material handled by MTS is steel in its different grades:
- Wear-resistant such as Hardox 400, 500, 600
- High-strength such as S500, 700, 890, 960, 1100 up to S1100plus
- Basic qualities such as S275, S355J2+N, S355MC, etc.
We can process metal sheets with thickness from 3 mm up to 300 mm and dimensions of 12,000 mm x 2,500 mm
The technologies applied are:
- Laser cutting
- Oxyfuel cutting
- Plasma cutting
CNC cutting systems are equipped with complex applications, such as automatic loading and unloading, bevel heads, drilling, tapping and marking stations, which are capable of making straight cuts or ready-for-welding preparations. Characterized by a high capacity to handle heavy loads and high productivity, our systems allow to reduce the non-productive time, thus revealing themselves as multifunctional technologies.
