Certified manual and automatic welding
The welding department at MTS is equipped with approx. 30 manual welding stations and 7 automatic lines, including 4 with 14 axes of 4.0 technology.
Manual welding is reserved for prototypes and the manufacture of very complex products with critical tolerances.
On the other hand, automatic welding systems are dedicated to producing welded components with high precision and consistency. Simulation software are used to program and simulate welding operations before actually performing them, thus allowing to optimize the schedules and reduce the errors. The robots can be programmed to perform a wide range of welding operations, such as spot, wire, TIG or MIG/MAG welding.
We can handle products weighing up to 5 tons with a max. length of 8000 mm. Automation allows to perform up to 80% of the welding, thus ensuring speed and safety of welding operations.
